This painting hangs at the Velvet Lounge, a jazz club here in Chicago. A friend of mine bought the painting and asked the owner of the club, the legendary saxophonist Fred Anderson, if he could display the painting over the bar. It hangs there to this day.

I visit the Velvet Lounge often. Every time Fred sees me he says, "Oh yeah, you're that artist guy!", though I don't think he remembers my name.

Un amigo mío compró la pintura y le preguntó al propetario, el legendario saxofonista Fred Anderson, que si lo podía mostrar sobre la barra. Hasta la fecha, sigue colagado. Yo frecuento mucho el bar Velvet Lounge. Y cada vez que me ve Fred me dice, "O sí, tu eres ese pintor!", aunque pienso que no recuerda mi nombre.
